Sarah is a Marine Corps Veteran, originally from the Pacific Northwest, and also chairs the Forward National Veterans and Veteran Families Committee. She has a degree in Political Science and has a deep passion for policy and solution-sleuthing. Sarah also operates a small business designing and building quality, affordable furniture, called Inclusive Design. Since middle school, when Sarah first learned about the two-party system, she has been a self-declared independent. It was clear even then (but even more so now) how inadequate the duopoly was at serving the vibrant and diverse culture of America.
